For more than 85 years, our organisation has played a vital role in assisting people navigate the experience of living with hearing conditions.
TODAY, AS WE EMBARK UPON A NEW FUTURE, WE WANT TO DO EVEN MORE.
As well as assisting people experiencing hearing conditions, we want to assist those around them. Families, workplaces, communities. We want to eliminate the social and emotional impacts of hearing conditions, and create a world of sound accessibility for everyone – particularly those most vulnerable – through connection and participation.
To do that we need to do more than speak up. We need to make some noise.
We need to educate. We need to advocate.
We need to do things differently. We need to see people as more than just ears.
We need to connect people, create new solutions, and make changes not just for the benefit of individuals, but for the benefit of all society.
It’s about reimagining one-on-one support, and bringing about meaningful change across the community.
We believe businesses, governments, the general public and even health professionals can learn more and do more.
Because we believe a world with hearing equality is possible.
