Specsavers' banners on view at HearMe launch event

Soundfair was delighted to have support from industry partners, Specsavers and Oticon, at the HearMe Report launch event. The networking lunch that followed the presentations allowed our guests to forge connections across the hearing sector and beyond – to have conversations that will catalyse change and help to create a fair world for people with hearing conditions.

Between courses, the artist Kate Disher-Quill spoke movingly about her journey towards acceptance and what led her to create the book Earshot, which has been described as one of the best books on deafness.
