Our organisation was established in 1932 by individuals who were deaf and hard of hearing as a peer-support organisation.

Self-advocacy and
peer support
We help strengthen the abilities of individuals with hearing loss and tinnitus to advocate for themselves. We help to enhance peoples’ skills to navigate and access essential services and to create a community free of barriers.
Education and
awareness
We provide educational programs, community outreach and campaigns to raise awareness within the community and reduce barriers for people living with hearing loss and tinnitus.
Innovation through
co-creation
We ensure that we continue to meet the evolving needs of people living with hearing loss and tinnitus by working with our community to co-create and iterate our programs and services.
