Dr Paul Davis has over thirty years of experience as an Audiologist specialising in tinnitus. He takes a solid, evidence-based approach to treating tinnitus in a friendly and caring manner. He combines a background in psychology with intensive training in audiology and a PhD in Computational Neuroscience. He enjoys finding what is unique about each person’s case and producing a custom rehabilitation plan to suit their lifestyle and test results.

He is the Founder of Tinnitus Telecare and the Inventor of its disruptive new treatment, Brainwave TRx. He was also the Founder and Inventor of the Neuromonics Tinnitus Treatment, which successfully treated tens of thousands of patients. Over the years, he has focused on conducting clinical research to optimise tinnitus treatment outcomes. He has enjoyed working in various R&D functions, including prescriptive algorithm development and running clinical trials. He is also a named inventor on over thirty issued or pending patents in tinnitus-related technologies. Dr Davis's work has been published extensively in rigorous medical journals, receiving more than a thousand citations. He has been invited to be a Keynote or Featured Speaker at many major international conferences. He has taught audiology theory and practice at an Associate Professor level in Australia, the USA, and the UK. He has received more than $2,000,000 worth of research grants. He was awarded the Best Poster Award at the 2008 International Tinnitus Seminar in Sweden, the only award given at the pre-eminent meeting in the field.

Dr Davis taught the Doctor of Audiology Program at Nova Southeastern University in Florida for three years and was on the Adjunct Faculty at the University of Miami for five years. He founded Audiology Architecture in 2012 and has worked with major clients such as Oticon HQ (Denmark), Neuromonics (USA), and Australian Hearing. Dr Davis is currently undertaking further tinnitus research and development while teaching online at Southern Cross University and part-time in private practice.

What is the cost to join the Tinnitus Referral Network?

Applications to be listed on the Tinnitus Referral Network incur a fee of $99.00 to cover the costs associated with assessing and processing the application. Should your application be successful, you will receive the first 12 months of your listing for free. Following this, an annual fee of $99.00 will apply to maintain the listing. You will receive a notification prior to your renewal date to extend or cancel your listing.

How is my information used?

Your information will be publicly displayed on the directory to help clients find and contact you. We will not use your details for any other purpose without your consent. Your email address will NOT be listed publicly and will only be used to communicate with your regarding your application and renewals.

Yes. To update your information or remove your listing, please contact us at [email protected].

How are listings reviewed and approved?

All listings are assessed and reviewed to ensure they meet our eligibility criteria and align with our mission. If you are unsure about your suitability, you can contact us to discuss further at [email protected]. You will be notified once your listing is approved.

What happens if my listing is rejected?

If your submission does not meet our criteria, we will notify you with feedback. Given the time taken to assess these applications, we are unable to refund the application fee. Please reach out prior to applying if you are unsure whether you will meet the criteria of a tinnitus provider.
